Retention Water Tank
Installed this tank along with the inline chlorinator for sale here. Very straightforward installation, and instructions are very concise. Use the pipe dope (I used Great White brand) for no leaks, used tape the first time and got leaks! Keep in mind this tank is actually 60 gallons, but the mixing tube allows it to perform like a 120. It is actually priced very nicely compared to other larger tanks, in the event you would need to install a second tank (twin tank system.)
Install tips- Use Shark Bite fittings so that if you have to remove the tank, you can unscrew the inlet/outlet and not cut any pipe (shark bites allow the pipe to spin). Also if you can use a 1” npt to barb fitting for the exit, this can allow you to use a spa hose and keep a visual on the water clarity heading to the next destination.
For the drain valve- use a 3/4” male to barb to attach again a spa hose so you get a visual on the water getting clear while draining.
