Well Watercheck Standard is a comprehensive informational water analysis designed for the homeowner whose drinking water comes from a private well or spring. This water testing package tests for 83 items, including bacteria (total coliform and e-coli); 19 heavy metals and minerals, including lead, iron, arsenic and copper; 6 other inorganic chemicals, including nitrates and nitrites; 5 physical factors, including pH, hardness and alkalinity; 4 Trihalomethanes; and 47 Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs), including benzene, Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE) and Trichloroethene (TCE). For a complete list of items analyzed, click on the Information Sheet below, or review the Example Test Report.
Test results are typically completed and mailed within 10 to 15 business days from the date samples are received at National Testing Laboratories. If you are performing testing to meet regulatory requirements, or if you believe your results may be used for litigation purposes, please contact us for more information about testing packages designed for those purposes. Additional testing may be necessary to determine what type of arsenic is present if the report indicates levels of arsenic exceeding the EPA's maximum level.
