Earth Weave uses British Wool due to its excellent crimp and fiber characteristics. The breeds used are the finest available. The sheep are raised in a free range environment. They are outside in all types of weather, both harsh and pleasant. This dynamic environment causes the sheep to grow a very hardy fleece that allows the production of the highest quality carpeting and rugs. Through all the elements, durability reigns supreme.
The colors are derived from the wool as it is naturally grown on the sheep's back. Just as you, your family and friends have a specific color of hair, so do the sheep have unique colors based on particular breeds. They take these naturally colored fleeces and blend them to achieve the beautiful colorations of our carpeting and rugs. No dyes or harsh chemicals (moth proofing) are applied.
The all-natural primary backing is made of a combination of hemp and cotton. Hemp is used for its durability, strength, and mold and mildew resistance. This is used instead of the traditional synthetic polypropylene primary.
The wool yarns are locked into place with a natural adhesive that is derived from the rubber tree. This further helps to lock the stitches in place and prevents slippage of the yarn. This adhesive is also completely biodegradable and non-toxic. Earth Weave is the only carpeting company in America that uses an all-natural adhesive for their carpeting and rugs.
These products carry a manufacturing defect warranty and are guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of five years. Matting, crushing, soiling, staining or any other changes in appearance are not considered manufacturing defects and are excluded from this warranty. No warranty is made as to individual reactions, physical or otherwise, regarding the carpet and its effects.

The alternating rows of color are even in height and give a somewhat sisal appearance but with the durability and softness of the finest all-natural wool available. MCKINLEY	Snowfield, Tussock, Granite, Ursus, Cottontail, Honeysuckle, Silver Birch, Dried Thistle	Our most popular carpet/rug style offering a muted elegance. McKinley can be either dressed up in a formal application or used in a bedroom/foyer/den to gain the comfort that comes from the finest all natural wool available. McKinley is suitable for all residential as well as light commercial applications. Now with four additional colors to choose from.
RAINIER	Snowfield, Tussock, Granite, Ursus	Our newest carpet/rug offering showcases a random tip shear. The combination of cut and uncut loops gives this carpet or rug a slightly more formal look than our other offerings. Excellent durability and comfort is achieved using the finest all-natural wool available. Rainier is suitable for all residential as well as light commercial applications.

Wool Enertia™ Carpet Padding

This wool-based carpet padding is a blend of course naturally pigmented wools mechanically needled (not glued) to a jute facing. Eighty percent of the wool fiber is pre-consumer waste. The padding is free from dyes, fire retardant, glues, moth proofing or adhesives. Color will vary from charcoal brown to tan, depending upon fiber availability. Some vegetable matter may be present. Average thickness is 7/16 inch, average weight is 40 oz/sq. yd. Each roll is 6 feet wide by 37.5 feet long, a total of 225 square feet, or 25 square yards. Cost of each roll is $202.50—only $8.10 per square yard—when you buy along with your carpet purchase. Padding purchased without carpet purchase will be at $270.00 per roll, or $10.80 per square yard.

The rug gripper padding shown here is made of 100% natural rubber for use on hard surfaces. It will provide extra comfort underfoot and helps to prevent slipping of your rug.
